Switches für erweiterte Temperaturbereiche verfügen über einen industrietauglichen Betriebstemperaturbereich sowie einen professionellen Überspannungsschutz für den Außenbereich, um rauen Umgebungsbedingungen im Freien standzuhalten. Daher können sie in Zugangsszenarien wie Safe City und Ethernet to the x (ETTx) eingesetzt werden.
